We encourage all clients curious about out of network benefits to contact your insurance provider directly and ask about “out of network benefits for outpatient therapy services.”

  • The free 10-minute phone consult is designed to help determine if working together will be a good fit.

    Here’s what you can expect:

    1. An Opportunity to Share Your Needs

    • You’ll briefly describe why you’re seeking therapy, such as challenges you’re facing, areas you want to work on, or what you hope to gain from therapy.

    2. A Chance to Learn About the Therapist

    • The therapist may share their background, therapeutic style, and approach to working with clients. This gives you insight into their methods and whether their style aligns with your preferences.

    3. A Space to Ask Questions

    • You can ask questions about their experience, specialties, availability, fees, or anything else you’re curious about.

    4. Clarification of Next Steps

    • If it seems like a good fit, the therapist will explain the intake process, scheduling, and what to expect in the first session. If for any reason it does not feel like an good fit, the therapist may provide referrals to other professionals and/or resources.

    5. No Pressure!

    • This is not a therapy session. It’s a low-commitment opportunity to see if you feel comfortable and are able to connect with the therapist.

It’s a good idea to prepare a few questions or thoughts ahead of time to make the most of the consultation!
