About Me

I operate as a relationally-based therapist specializing couples and trauma work. I primarily work with individuals, couples, and families in transitional or challenging seasons of life involving anxiety, depression, relationship challenges, parenting dynamics, perinatal mental health, and trauma.

I never take for granted the role I serve in supporting clients through the hardest times and the most joyful ones. My goal for your therapeutic work is to learn something about yourself, your partner, or about a new skill to use in everyday life.

I look forward to supporting you in discovering your strengths, processing stressors, grieving losses, learning coping skills, and growing personally. You are in control of your healing journey, I am simply holding space to facilitate it.

You feel stuck, even though you're highly aware of your struggles.
You've tried different approaches and put in a lot of effort, but long-term change has been elusive. This can leave you feeling frustrated, like lasting transformation is just out of reach.

You find it difficult to be truly vulnerable in your relationships.
Opening up about topics like trauma, intimacy, and conflict feels uncomfortable, and that can leave you feeling isolated or disconnected from your partner.

You feel a tug toward being everything to everyone…
but are realizing that sometimes you need to prioritize yourself.

Balancing your empathy and desire to contribute with your own needs can create internal conflict, especially when it feels like putting yourself first may go against your values.

it’s time to get to the bottom of it…!

My Approach to Therapy

I strive to create an environment where you feel safe to bring all parts of yourself—including the messy, confusing, or painful ones. My style is direct yet compassionate, allowing us to address difficult subjects with honesty and openness. I believe humor can be a powerful tool for breaking down barriers, so I make space for it, even when working through challenging material. My aim is for you to feel heard and supported as we explore whatever you need to unpack.

Building a trusting relationship is foundational to our work. I focus on listening deeply and showing up authentically, meeting you where you are while holding a vision for where you want to go. Our relationship becomes a space where you can experiment with new ways of being, gradually shifting away from old patterns that no longer serve you. My goal is for you to feel empowered, connected, and equipped to confront the issues that brought you to therapy.

Together, we’ll work on clarifying your goals and breaking them down into manageable steps that feel realistic and meaningful. I support you in developing insights and building practical tools for creating the change you’re seeking.

Ultimately, my role is to walk alongside you on this journey, helping you build a fulfilling and resilient life on your terms.

How is therapy with me different?

I pick up where other therapists leave off.

I foster an environment where you feel safe to address even the most uncomfortable areas of your life, without fear of judgment. While I bring my extensive training and evidence-based approaches to our sessions, I also believe in the power of genuine, down-to-earth conversations that get to the heart of the matter.

I’m less focused on giving you a strict roadmap and more interested in collaborating with you to find what truly resonates for you. My style is adaptive and relational, meaning we’ll work together as a team, shaping our sessions based on what feels right for you at any given time. I aim to be transparent, bringing authenticity and warmth into the process, while also allowing for feedback and growth.
